Cardiovascular Ultrasound Services, Inc., was founded in 1988 as an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility, (IDTF) and has been accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) since 1989.

We are the only local IDTF serving the Columbus area, and have been providing high quality ultrasound services to Central Ohio physicians and their patients for seventeen years.

An IDTF is a facility meeting medicares standards and requirements for quality testing, independent of physician or hospital ownership. We are extremely proud to have achieved this status, and we are committed to providing the highest quality ultrasound services available.

The ICAVL is a non-profit organization that provides a mechanism for accreditation of facilities which perform comprehensive testing for vascular disease with noninvasive testing modalities. The ICAVL is supported by several sponsoring organizations and societies that include neurology, cardiology, vascular surgery, vascular medicine, vascular ultrasound, interventional radiology, and internal medicine.
