Your doctor has ordered an Arterial Doppler exam of your arms. This is a noninvasive, ultrasound test. The sonographer
will put a cool gel on your arms and pass a transducer (probe) along your arms to scan your arteries. This is to evaluate
the blood flow in your arteries, to determine if there are any blockages caused by a plaque build up causing obstruction
of the blood flow to your feet. You will also have blood pressures taken in your arms and legs. This is a painless procedure,
and there is no preparation.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you need to reschedule your appointment, or if you have any
questions, please feel free to call our office.
